Pray for People International

In the Apostle Paul's letter to the Colossians (Ch4) he encourages them to pray for his ministry and we would ask that you pray the same things for us:

"...that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ..."

Central Asia is perhaps the most challenging regions for the gospel. Christian workers are being expelled on an ongong basis and visas are inreasingly difficult to secure. Of course the other aspect of this is the opportunity to share the truth of the gospel with Central Asian friends, neighbours and colleages.

"Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should"

The languages of Central Asia take careful study and practice. Please pray for all workers who are at this stage. Pray also for their learning of local culture and practices, this can be more tricky than the languaue. On average it takes someone two years to start to minister effectively in a new setting.

Please also pray for wisdom as we develop new strategies to ministry in a changing political and spiritual environment.

Pray for Central Asia

The Central Asian church faces relentless persecution from both the state and islamic activists and consistently accounts for a quarter of the Open Doors Watch list of persecuted nations.

Pray that the church would stand strong and bold in witness in the face of persecution.

Pray for church leaders arrested and imprisoned because of their obedience to God.

Pray for mature, healthy leadership in the Central Asian church.

Pray for increasing unity among believers.

Pray for stability and peace, despite threats from extremists.

Pray in a Group

It is clear to us that prayer is essential to our ministry and with the growth we hope for, and the associated challenges that brings we need more people to pray. Perhaps we could ask for your help?
